Canada offers Malala honorary citizenship
Ms. Malala will become just the sixth
person to be granted honorary Canadian citizenship after South African
anti-apartheid hero Nelson Mandela, Nobel Peace Prize laureate Aung San Suu
Kyi, Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama, British business magnate Aga Khan and
Swedish diplomat Raoul Wallenberg.
Comet ISON will shine bright by October end
By October-end, the comet is expected to be visible through
the telescope and by November-end or first week of December, even to the naked
eye, when the comet will be at its peak. Comet ISON, called C/ 2012 S1,
was discovered by Russian astronomers Vitali Nevski and Artyom Novichonok using
the International Scientific Optical Network telescope, and hence named ISON.
